What? FYI, All Macs are now 64-bit systems. The PowerMac G5 was the first, back in 2003. Mac OS X Leopard is also 64-bit and offers 64-bit frameworks to build 64-bit apps to go with it.
Windows? Yes, the hardware it runs on might be 64-bit, but the OS itself is 32-bit (some parts are still 16-bit). 64-bit versions of Windows exist, but they're not even worth using because compatibility with older 32-bit software is questionable at best. OS X can handle 32 and 64-bit apps seamlessly.
