マクロスといえば、 ま。。 音楽と恋愛の話だと言い切れると思います。 確かに十三歳の時、日本語が全く分からなかったころ、マクロスの音楽が俺の記憶を刻めたんです。

I'm not saying Robotech itself was all that great... I would have been just as happy with a straight dub of Macross, as I didn't find the other two series as appealing, and the Robotech-related plot edits were confusing. But of the stuff they added to make Robotech, the music is particularly good.

i didn't really listen to the scores from Robotech. growing up with Mari Iijima's voice and the character developements brought me to this series. I can say this trying to prove who is better is a lost cause. You grew up with this series just like me. I guess i will have to check out robotech to get a better idea.
