The movie is called "Un chien andalou" and the song is called debaser because of how salvador dali and luis bunuel debased reality with their surrealistic movie.

yep you're right i think, or maybe the movie with the eyeball was called andalucia or something cuz it's in the lyrics too. i read it in the book "fool the world. the oral history of a band named pixies".

I believe this song is based on an existensial,"Arty" french film called debaser. Apparently the main character slices his own eye balls.....I want you to know (arf arf).Least I think that is what it was called

There was a band called Nirvana which originated from Britain, but split up during the times of Kurts band Nirvana, although there would still of been the Nirvana band, just not as famous, or maybe it could of?, but the Pixies was an inspiration...
