I live in Myrtle Beach,
and I miss the Pavilion sooo much.
It was the best amusement park we had.

It really is sad to see a vacant lot where it use to be.I never forget buying my son an arm band and letting him ride all day long.

I am 23, I have been to Myrtle Beach on vacation 6 times in my life and enjoyed every second of it. Very underrated place, and about 3 of the times we went to the Pavilion and had a blast. '90, '96, and '00 I went there. The Corkscrew was still there in the 90's too. And I am from Ohio. Myrtle Beach is my favorite vacation spot thanks to the wonderful hospitality, places to stay, things to do, beaches to lay on, and of course the seafood restaurants.

The Hard Rock Theme Park in Myrtle Beach just declared bankrupcy and closed its doors after being open only 6 months. Maybe it wasn't the replacement for the Pavillion that they thought it would be. The Pavillion Nostalgia Park is better even though it is mostly kiddy rides.
